Christchurch is a Church of Ireland congregation. Liberal, of course – interested only in social issues. The size of it is massive. Saw St.Patricks also – just down the road (Catholic Church).
Trinity College in Dublin is huge and beautiful. John Owen worked here under Oliver Cromwell. Both Protestant & Catholic study here, but is has been largely Protestant. We saw the Book of Kells here – dated 800 AD – Latin text of the Gospels. The Long Library was magnificent.
We are staying in a village north of Dublin called Malahide. Sounds like it should be called Formaldehyde or the place where the Amalekites live. It is located on an estuary flowing into the Irish Sea. It has been a long time since I have seen lawn tennis courts but they had lots of them.
