We are located in Grasmere in the Lake District (NW England). – beautiful scenery everywhere.
Goodbye To Holland
We said goodbye to our friends (the Jardines) in Holland this morning, woke at 5.30 am, caught the train to Amsterdam (1:10 hr journey) at 7.05 am in the rain, then flew to Manchester England, arrived 10.10 am, spent some time in the city getting lost driving round, then left at about 3.30 pm for Cumbria (NW England) AKA the Lake District, arriving about 5.30 pm. Simply wiped out.
Kinderdijk Windmills
These windmills which still operate are located all in one place -Kinderdijk. Also there floats Moses in the bullrushes.
Cube Housing
These are actual places of residence in Rotterdam. Notice the mural on the walls and the windows all on the inside.
