William Wordsworth loved the Lake District and lived here for many years. He is buried in the church graveyard under a beautiful yew tree.

This was the view from our window at 5.45 am. We sat having a cup of tea (again) and just enjoyed the silence and beauty. The beauty of the Lord’s creation is everywhere. You can see the lovely little tea garden looking right.
