St. Nicholas is in CarrickFergus built in the 12th century. I took some photos of the graveyard. One was dated “died 1827” – the man was 53 at the time, so that would put him born in the late 1700’s. There were some apparently dated from the 1600’s.

CarrickFergus Castle
This castle was built in 1180 by the Normans in CarrickFergus overlooking the Belfast Lough (loch).
Schoolgirls
There were a number of schools visiting the Titanic Center all dressed in their uniforms which reminded us of our kids at school. It was great to see.
Fish ‘n Chips
Here we are eating (again) magnificent fish and chips wrapped in newspaper dated April 23, 2016. 
Antrim Town
Antrim is a very old town in N. Ireland. The o’Neil clan (who are still alive) own a massive estate. They are connected to the High Kings of Ireland going back to the 5th Century. A beautiful place full of character. An old castle still exists through the town.
