Art Museum
The Scottish National Museum of Art had quite a collection. I liked this gruesome painting of Herod with the head of John the Baptist. True prophets always had it rough.
Troon
My cousin and his family live in Troon on the west coast of Scotland. The British Open Golf Championship will be played here next month. The beach doesn’t quite match back home but the scenery is beautiful. The town across the water (the Irish Sea) is Ayr. We go through there tomorrow on our way to the ferry to go back to Belfast.
